786 Program

786 SMS – The 786 Program was started by the Government of Pakistan, led by Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif, on May 22, 2022. Its main goal is to help people with limited income, especially women and children. The name “786” is considered sacred in Islam.

The program provides financial support to families in need. If a family earns less than Rs. 40,000 per month, they can get a monthly grant of Rs. 2,000 through the Ehsaas Program. To apply, they just need to send their CNIC number to 786 via text message, and the government will send them the grant.

During a press conference, Miftah Ismail, who represents the Pakistani government’s PML-N party, announced that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif launched the Ehsaas 2000 program on May 28, 2022. This program is specifically for women in low-income families. Both the female members and the head of the household can apply if their husbands earn less than Rs. 40,000 per month. The initiative aims to help all families with low income, regardless of their background.

Registering for Ehsaas 786 Program using CNIC Number by SMS

The 786 Web Portal is designed to help families who need financial support in Pakistan.   2. Send an SMS to the number 786.
  3. After sending the SMS, you’ll get a response to confirm your registration.

The Government of Pakistan started this initiative to help those facing difficulties because of inflation.
