Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme
The Government of Pakistan has started a plan called the “Sasta Petrol and Diesel Scheme” to help families in the country with high petrol and diesel prices. Families that earn less than Rs. 40,000 per month will get Rs. 2,000 as a subsidy to assist them.
If a family is already part of the “Benazir Income Support Program” (BISP), they will automatically receive the Rs. 2,000 subsidy. Families not in BISP can apply for the scheme by sending their “Computerized National Identity Card” (CNIC) number to 786 to check if they qualify.
Only families with a female head, who earns less than Rs. 40,000, will get the subsidy. The amount is figured out by taking five percent of the total income of these families, based on information from the “Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.”
The “Sasta Petrol and Diesel Scheme” will help more than 14 million families in the country. Out of them, 7.3 million are already part of BISP, and others can apply for the “Petrol Relief Package” by sending a message to 786. Let’s use this chance to work together and ease the burden of high fuel prices on our families!
786 Program
The 786 Program, also known as the Ehsaas 786 Program, is a special government effort in Pakistan to help people affected by rising petrol prices. The main aim is to ease the financial burden caused by increasing petrol costs and provide assistance to those who need it.
Through this program, eligible individuals and families who buy petrol receive Rs. 2000 every month as financial support. This money is meant to help them manage the higher expenses of fuel and reduce their financial stress.
It’s essential to know the specific deadline for registration. If you miss it, you won’t be able to join the program for that year. This opportunity is available for people living in Islamabad, Punjab, KPK, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit, and AJK.
The main goal of the Ehsaas 786 Program is to make sure that people from different parts of Pakistan can benefit from this financial aid. By focusing on households affected by costly petrol, the government wants to provide relief and support those who are facing economic difficulties due to the increasing fuel prices. This initiative shows the government’s dedication to helping its citizens and promoting welfare across the country.
How to Get Free Petrol in Pakistan?
Getting free petrol in Pakistan is possible through the Prime Minister’s Petrol Relief Package, also known as the Sasta Petrol, Sasta Diesel Scheme. This program offers financial help to households earning less than Rs. 40,000 per month, and the subsidy is given to the women who lead the household.
To apply for the Petrol Relief Package and receive a subsidy of Rs. 2,000, you need to send your CNIC number to 786 SMS and check if you qualify. Remember, only female heads of households are eligible for this subsidy under the Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme.
Once you apply with your CNIC, you will find out if you’re eligible within three days, as mentioned by Federal Finance Minister Miftah Ismail. The Petrol Relief Package is only available to households with an income below Rs. 40,000.
For the year 2024, you can conveniently register online through the 786 Program. If you’re already receiving assistance from the BISP Kafalat program, you don’t need to register again, as you’re automatically eligible for the Ehsaas 786 Program. But new applicants can register by sending their 13-digit CNIC number to 786 via SMS. This will help the authorities check eligibility and include them in the program. So, take advantage of this opportunity and get relief from high petrol prices!
