PM Laptop Scheme 2024 is here to help students in Pakistan. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif started this scheme to give free laptops to college students all over the country. Boys and girls will get laptops equally. If you’re studying in Matric, Intermediate (FA, FSC, ICS), B.COM, BSC, MSC, or other undergraduate or graduate programs in public colleges, you can register for this scheme starting from 10th June.
This special Ehsaas Laptop Scheme is for students from families with low incomes. It wants to support students in their higher education. - Inclusion from Kashmir: The scheme is open to students from Azad Kashmir and Occupied Kashmir as well. Soon, they will also be added to the eligible list.

How to Apply Online for PM Laptop Scheme 2024

- Register or Update Profile: Students should visit the Students’ Service Portal at https://laptop.pmyp.gov.pk/ and complete the registration or update their profile.
- Provide Correct Information: During the registration process, students must provide their own CNIC (National ID), mobile number, and email address. The data provided will be used for further processing. It’s essential to submit accurate information; otherwise, registration may be canceled.
- Complaints or Issues: If students encounter any problems receiving SMS notifications during the application process for the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme Phase-VI, they can report their issues. Here are the different options you may receive after checking your application status and their meanings:
- Applied: You successfully applied for the laptop scheme.
- Verified: The university focal person confirmed your student record.
- Disapproved: Your application was not approved by the university focal person. This could be because of incorrect academic details, admission dates, misconduct, or administrative issues.
- Selected: Congratulations! You have been chosen based on merit to receive a laptop.
- Not Selected: Unfortunately, you were not selected because there are limited laptops available.
- Asset Issued: You already received a laptop in a previous scheme/phase. If you think there’s a mistake, contact your university’s focal person.
- Waiting: You have a chance to be selected if someone else is disqualified for not following the rules, for verification problems, or for giving false information. However, having a “Waiting” status doesn’t guarantee getting a laptop.
