Fauji Foundation Scholarship: The Fauji Foundation Educational Stipend Scheme (FFES) stands as a commendable initiative, providing educational opportunities for the children of retired personnel from various branches of the Armed Forces in Pakistan. Established in 1954, it has since been a consistent source of support, with thousands of students benefiting each year.
This scholarship program encompasses students in different educational phases, ranging from classes 1 to 10, intermediate, to 4-5 years of undergraduate degree programs. Additionally, it extends its support to those pursuing professional and technical education. In the academic session 2020-21, approximately 13,131 students were awarded scholarships, amounting to Rs. 163.422 million.
To ensure fair distribution, the program categorizes students into four groups. Group 1 includes those enrolled in Intermediate/DAE programs, requiring a minimum of 80% marks in Matric. Group 2 targets students in 4-5 years of undergraduate degree programs, with a prerequisite of 80% marks in FA/FSc. The Group 3 focuses on students in Cadet Colleges and Pre-Matric classes, while Group 4 is for students enrolled in classes 1 to 10.
The application process spans specific periods for each group, ranging from November to June. Stipends are then disbursed from July to September, following a well-defined schedule.
The FFES is not only a testament to the commitment of the Fauji Foundation but also a vital instrument in empowering the families of those who have served the nation. Providing educational stipends ensures that the pursuit of knowledge remains accessible and attainable for deserving individuals within the borders of Pakistan.

The Fauji Foundation scholarship aims to provide financial support to deserving students based on the service and sacrifices of their parents. It recognizes the unique challenges faced by the families of ex-service personnel and strives to make education accessible for their children. Special consideration is given to those with disabilities, ensuring that they receive support regardless of academic performance. The program also emphasizes inclusivity by not restricting the number of eligible children for Shuhada, disabled, and deceased ex-servicemen, while maintaining a limit for normal ex-servicemen to extend the benefit widely within the available resources.
